ULUWATU TEMPLE BALI

Uluwatu Temple is one of Balinese Hindu Temple located right on the petrifying hill (on the rock) with the crevasse exist in the right and left side in south part of Bali Island. Officially known as Pura Luhur Uluwatu, "Luhur" means "something of divine origin" while "Uluwatu" can be broken into "ulu" which means "land's end" and "watu" means "rock" in the old language.

Uluwatu Temple is one of Sad Khayangan (6 biggest temple in Bali) owns magnificent view of the Indian Ocean and sunset as a backdrop. This temple is very amazing where the location is right on the narrow peninsula with deep seawater under it. There area also the group of monkeys dwelling the small forest around the temple and play around the temple area.

At sunset, Kecak dance performance is held here everyday. And, it goes without saying that sunset viewing at Uluwatu is one of the must-do in Bali.
